Dr. Brian Homann
Dr. Brian Homann is a general dentist located in Elk Grove Village.
Dr. Homann grew up in the Rockford area. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Physics. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry in Elk Grove Village and Chicago since that time.
Dr. Homann is currently an adjunct professor at the U of I College of Dentistry and oversees students at an offsite clinical facility. He was part of a team that published a scientific paper in Oral Oncology regarding an early oral cancer screening technique.
Dr. Homann is an active volunteer and has been recognized by the American Dental Association with the 2020 10 Under 10 award (recognizing 10 of the top young dentists in the United States) as well as by the Chicago Dental Society with the 2014 Vision Award for his work with the underserved populations. He also volunteers his time on a dental advisory committee to help expand access to dental care in the Chicagoland area.
In his free time, Dr. Homann is an avid runner and has finished numerous races, including the Chicago Marathon and the Great Illini Triathlon. Dr. Homann is married to Jessika, a 5th grade teacher. Together, they have three children, Vivian, Dexter, and Beatrice.

Swina – Registered Dental Hygienist
Swina joined our team in 2016. Swina graduated from the Harper College Dental Hygiene program and received her Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Swina enjoys building long term relationships with current patients and our new patients who come to our office. Swina provides high-quality care to our patients by listening to their concerns and focusing on each patient’s individual needs. Swina enjoys talking with patients about current oral health topics and is always looking for new ways to improve their smiles.
Swina grew up in Elk Grove Village and is a graduate of Elk Grove High School. Swina is currently living in Des Plaines with her husband of over ten years Kinjal and are proud parents of two adorable boys. In her free time, Swina enjoys watching and cheering on her two children at all of their sporting events. She also volunteers her time in the dental field as well at her children’s school events.
Angela – Registered Dental Hygienist
Angela graduated with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Harper College. Angela has always had a passion for dentistry. Prior to becoming a Dental Hygienist, Angela worked as a Dental Assistant for over 7 years. Angela is knowledgeable in multiple areas of dentistry and thoroughly enjoys educating her patients on ways to improve their oral health.
Angela is married to her husband, Jack, has a son, Caleb, and lives in Schaumburg. She enjoys riding her bike and running. People who know her know how much she loves to find “old items” at local thrift shops and fix them up into something new! Angela also loves to cook and is always interested in trying out new recipes!
Sandra – Patient Coordinator
Sandra joined our team in May 2015. Sandra can be found assisting with all aspects of the dental office. She is even certified in coronal polishing. Sandra represents our practice throughout the Elk Grove community.
Sandra was born and raised in New Jersey and currently lives in Arlington Heights with her four beautiful children: three daughters and a son. Sandra enjoys being with the people who mean the most to her!
Jessica – Dental Assistant
Jessica joined our team in 2019. Jessica is very happy to be a part of Dr. Brian Homann’s team where everyone is always working together and ready to provide high-quality dental care. Jessica completed her dental assisting program in Elgin and feels very blessed to be able to work in a field that has always been her passion. Jessica is fluent in Spanish and also enjoys making patients feel comfortable as well as getting to know them.
In Jessica’s free time, she likes to work out, spend time with loved ones, and travel. Jessica looks forward to meeting all of you in person!
Sylwia – Front desk / Dental Assistant
Sylwia is excited to be in the dental field and is always excited to help our patients. Prior to joining Elk Grove Family Dental, Sylwia was a nanny for seven years and worked in a dental office. Sylwia lives in Bartlett with her husband, Tom, and their two adorable pitbulls Luna & Sky. Sylwia’s favorite foods are sushi and ice cream. During her free time she likes to spend time with family and friends, shopping, doing word search puzzles, and going wine tasting. Sylwia is also fluent in Polish.
Diana – Dental Assistant
Diana has been in the dental field for over 7 years and has her nitrous oxide monitoring certificate. She is always excited to help patients feel great about their smile. Diana is also fluent in Spanish. Outside of the office, Diana enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her kittens. She also enjoys traveling and is a big foodie!
