Breathe Easy Airways & Implants
Breathe Easy Airways & Implants of Brian Homann, DDS, provides care for patients seeking treatment for missing teeth, dental-related breathing concerns, and sleep-related breathing disorders. Our team evaluates each patient’s oral health, airway, and treatment goals to develop an individualized treatment plan.
By understanding how the teeth, jaws, tongue, and airway work together, we can recommend treatment that supports long-term oral health and healthy function.
Implant Dentist in Elk Grove Village, IL
Dr. Hauptman helps patients replace missing teeth with stable, natural-looking restorations. Dental implant services include:
- Single-tooth dental implants
- Implant-supported bridges
- Implant-supported dentures
- Implant restorations
- Comprehensive implant treatment planning
- Full-mouth rehabilitation
- Coordination with trusted oral surgeons when procedures, such as complicated tooth extractions or extensive bone grafting, are recommended
Dental implants help restore chewing function, support long-term oral health, and provide a secure replacement for missing teeth.
Airway-Focused Dentist
As an airway dentist*, Dr. Hauptman evaluates how the teeth, jaws, tongue, and surrounding oral structures may affect breathing during the day and while sleeping. Airway concerns may contribute to:
- Mouth breathing
- Snoring
- Poor sleep quality
- Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)
- Narrow dental arches
- Daytime fatigue
- Crowded teeth
- Dental health issues
Every patient receives a comprehensive evaluation to determine whether airway-focused treatment may be appropriate.
Airway Expansion
Some patients may benefit from therapy that expands space in the upper jaw and promotes improved, healthier breathing. Depending on the patient’s age and needs, treatment may include:
- Orthopedic expansion
- Bone-supported expansion performed in coordination with an oral surgeon
- Invisalign® treatment
- Other airway-focused therapies
As an airway expansion dentist*, Dr. Hauptman assesses each patient to determine the most appropriate treatment. He works with kids, adolescents, and adults who are facing oral health-related airway concerns.
Sleep Apnea Dentistry
Dr. Hauptman works alongside Dr. Brian Homann to provide care for patients with obstructive sleep apnea and other sleep-related breathing concerns.
Dr. Brian Homann is an AADSM Qualified Dentist, a designation awarded by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine to dentists who have completed additional education in dental sleep medicine and oral appliance therapy.
For qualifying patients who have been diagnosed with OSA, our team provides airway evaluations and custom oral appliance therapy. Oral appliances help reposition the lower jaw during sleep to reduce airway obstruction and may be an alternative for patients who cannot tolerate CPAP therapy.
A Personalized Approach to Care
At Brian Homann, DDS, our team believes every treatment plan should be tailored to the individual. Dr. Hauptman works to understand each patient’s concerns, explain available treatment options, and answer questions.
We want our patients to make informed decisions about their oral health. Whether discussing dental implants or airway concerns, our goal is to build lasting relationships and help patients feel comfortable throughout their care.
